We are located in Central California on our 15 acre ranch with plenty of room to work the dogs. We actively compete in AKC conformation & hunt tests. We are recognized by the AKC as a "Breeder of Merit". The Breeder of Merit Program honors breeder/exhibitors' dedication and hard work as they continue to produce dogs that are healthy, capable, and beautiful. The foundation of today's AKC, Breeders of Merit have the power to influence, guide, and teach future breeders, exhibitors, and all purebred dog owners. We have both field and show lines in all colors. We occasionally have older dogs for sale. We have been very active in past years with the Central California Labrador Retriever Club & the Hills Ferry Retriever Club. Christine has served as the President, Secretary and Public Education Coordinator for the CCLRC through the years and we encourage Labrador owners to participate in local clubs. She served as the 2022-2024 Secretary for CCLRC and Membership Chair and currently the Vice President for Sierra Vista LRC & co-chair of the annual specialty. Christine is also a member of the parent club (Labrador Retriever Club). Christine also started in the ring on the other end of the lead as a judge in 2011. "I didn't know where to stand at first, and Scott swears he knew exactly who I was going to give it to." We were both pleased to judge the mock hunt test/ super singles at HFHRC and found it gave a great appreciation for what goes into pulling an event like that off. We are active supporters of the Delta Waterfowl Association. Scott is the Dinner Chair of the Central Valley Chapter. We offer puppies to good homes with the time and space to accommodate them on limited registration. We OFA our breeding stock and CERF annually. We strive for sound, loving, companions with the drive to perform. Our dogs are being used in the field for upland and duck hunting, as well as drug detection dogs, and first and foremost as loving companions. We have produced tournament hunting champions, International and American show champions and junior and senior hunters. Our girl Tara (CH Four K's Celtic Legacy WC) represents 3 generations of AKC champions owned/bred at our kennel. Colt is recently finished his Master Hunt Tests earning his MH. Christine grew up on a working cattle ranch in the foothills of Central California. Her family owned and bred Australian Shepherds. Christine always loved the breed, but really wanted a smaller dog. We found Miniature American Shepherds, which are the scaled down version of the Aussies she grew up loving. The family fell in love with these little clowns and quickly added several to the kennel. We have finished two champions in the last year and actively pursuing the prestigious Grand Champion Bronze on our Special Keeper. Scott and Christine are members of the Wild West Miniature American Shepherd Club and the Miniature American Shepherd Club of the USA. Christine currently serves as the Secretary of the WWMASC.
